Web Development Versus Web Design

Web Development v/s Web Design

Technologists keep saying that the words “web development” and “web design” are the same thing. I respectfully disagree and say that while these terms have historically been used interchangeably, they are now two different things with different goals, standards and philosophies. Web development is easily explained as “a broad term for anything to do with creating a website for the Internet or an intranet. This may include e-commerce business development, web design, web content development, client/server-side scripting, and web server Web design is defined as “the process of conceptualizing, planning, modeling, and implementing the delivery of electronic media content over the Internet in the form of technology. “(Definition provided by Wikipedia). We can learn a few things by looking at these brief definitions. First of all, web design is part of web development, and it’s easy to see why people think the two are related, like it a square is a rectangle but a rectangle is not a square Web design is a part of web development but it is not one of the most important parts.

Web design

Web design, or more specifically website design, is the process of creatively visualizing and using the tools and applications created during web development. Web design takes the development process one step further, and these tools are often used in very different ways than they are actually used. A simple comparison is how airplane engines built for war are used as models for the car engines we use every day. Web design gives us things like the Web 2.0 philosophy of user-generated content, and even if they weren’t made for that, they can be made with web development tools. Content management systems like the ones we’ve discussed so far enable social networking sites and blogs. Dynamic websites that look good use the framework provided by web development tools, but they take it a step further by using the tool to create web design masterpieces.

Web development

With all the advances in web development in the US, it has become easy to separate the two terms that used to mean the same thing. Web development today is a process of creating new technologies and programs to encourage the growth of the World Wide Web. Of course, these techniques can be used for anything internet related, such as: B. Websites, but they don’t just apply to websites. A content management system (CMS) is one of many ways to get better at web development. CMS systems make it easy to manage content and data online. They can be used for a simple network of servers in an office or as the backbone of an e-commerce website (single-state voting systems use CMS systems to count and record votes via software). Web development also includes creating scripting and programming languages, modifying them, and developing new languages. Action script 3.0 and PHP 5.2 are two of the best things happening on the web. Action script 3.0 is part of Adobe Flash CS3, but Adobe developed AS 3.0 to make it more useful for creative web applications. New York based web development in particular is known for consistently using the latest tools and research to create some of the most innovative web applications.
